WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS?

Eyelash Extensions are individual strands of synthetic fibers made to replicate a natural eyelash. When applied, eyelash extensions lengthen and thicken your own natural eyelashes. The single strands are applied to each individual eyelash, one by one. Some sets, such as ‘Beauty Full’ and ‘Angel Eyes’ have lightweight fans applied to create more volume. With proper application, lash extensions look and feel completely natural.

HOW LONG WILL A SET OF EYELASH EXTENSIONS LAST? 

At Still Stunning we pride ourselves in quality eyelash extensions and a part of that is retention. Our infills are set at 2 - 3 week and 3 - 4 week intervals to make the most out of your lashes. In the instance that you have a full set for a special occasion, without infills, your lashes will last between 6 - 8 weeks. Please note varying factors such as the length of the natural growth cycle of your own eyelashes and your daily activities/routine.

DO I NEED A PATCH TEST?

Patch tests are required for new clients. It is the clients responsibility to book this at least 48 hours before the eyelash appointment. A patch test only takes a minute although you can also choose to use this time to complete your consultation. Please contact Still Stunning directly to book.

HOW DO I CHOOSE THE LOOK I WANT? 

You can find a brief description of each set under ‘Services.’ You can also book a consultation to discuss your options in more details. During your appointment you will also receive a short consultation to understand what type of style you are interested in so that your chosen set can be customised for you.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO APPLY EYELASH EXTENSIONS AND HOW IS IT DONE? 

The application process for lash extensions varies between 90-120 minutes depending on the set. All of these details can be found under ‘Services.’

During your appointment you will lay comfortably on a massage table with your eyes closed while relaxing ambient music is played in the background. Your lower lashes will be covered and the extensions will be applied only to your upper lashes one at a time.

ARE LASH EXTENSIONS SAFE? 

Still Stunning only uses professional grade adhesive which never comes in contact with your skin. Eyelash extensions adhere about 1mm away from your skin and are applied directly onto your natural lash.

CAN I APPLY MASCARA TO EYELASH EXTENSIONS? 

Our eyelash extensions are designed to give your natural lashes an improved look of fullness so mascara is not needed. The less you do to your eyelash extensions, the longer they last.

CAN I SWIM, SHOWER, EXERCISE, OR VISIT A SPA WHILE WEARING EYELASH EXTENSIONS? 

You will receive full aftercare instructions at your appointment and it is important that you follow them carefully. The short answer is yes.  

DO I HAVE TO DO ANYTHING TO PREPARE FOR THE SERVICE? 

Please arrive to your appointment without eye makeup. Lashes should not be permed or manually curled at the time of appointment.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CHOOSE TO HAVE MY EYELASH EXTENSIONS REMOVED?

The lash remover is applied on top of the extensions without touching the skin and allowed to sit for 10 minutes. Once the adhesive is dissolved the extensions are gently wiped away with lint free applicators exposing the natural lashes. You can click here to book a removal.
